Sarah is a certified Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) and leads the Financial Solutions Division, focusing on retirement success, risk management, and wealth management for both businesses and individuals.

Chief of Operations

Matthew, a seasoned professional with 30+ years of leadership in the railroad sector and federal government, brings a wealth of expertise to Financial Designs. His journey includes pivotal roles at BNSF Railway, RailWorks/PNR, New Jersey Transit, Union Pacific, Patriot Rail, Bombardier, and more. Serving as Lieutenant Colonel (P) and Deputy Chief of Staff for the US Army Central, he contributed to the Global War on Terror. With a Master’s from the US Army Command & General Staff College and a BA in Political Science, Matthew’s commitment to growth shines. In our Financial Designs team, he supports clients with strategic leadership and continuous improvement.

As CFO of Financial Designs, David Loy brings over 36 years of extensive experience in finance and accounting, having held various leadership roles in both financial and operational capacities. As a change agent, he is driven to enhance processes, reduce costs, and optimize efficiency. David excels in guiding companies in designing their financial management playbook, understanding their Cash Flow Story, and developing strategic financial scorecards.

Dave Kountz
Business Coach

After serving in the US Navy designing weapon systems, Dave earned a master’s in Mechanical Engineering and became a licensed Professional Engineer. He excelled as VP of Engineering at Omnitech, propelling the startup to Inc. 500 status. Transitioning to non-profit, Dave led Blue Ridge Community Church, fueling significant growth and workplace acclaim. Returning to business, he helped grow a mid-sized MEP contracting firm, achieving record profits and fostering a vibrant company culture. In 2023, Dave founded G1 Solutions, offering Meta-Performance coaching and strategic consulting. With 30 years of experience, Dave aims to unleash leaders and teams' full potential by applying G1's tailored services to Financial Designs Business Advisors’ clients.
